I am a science-based, professional dog trainer with a very simple philosophy: I believe that training the dogs and puppies of Las Vegas should be fun, innovative, and positive. With the use of force-free methods, I’ve been helping both dogs and their owners understand each other better for several years. I build relationships with my clients, and help them to strengthen the bond with their dog.

SPECIALIZING IN PUPPIES!
NamaStay specializes in Early Puppyhood Devlopment, which includes communication, socialization, manners, exercise, enrichment, nutrition, and more!

Puppy lessons can start as early as 8 weeks old. I can even come to your home before you get your pup to help you prepare! 

A common schedule for training a new puppy:

8 and 9 weeks: adjust to new family, how to start forming a bond, potty/crate training

10 weeks: begin basic obedience (sit etc) and socialization. Yes, socialization! There is a way to do it safely!

Training starts in your home as the pup isn't vaxxed yet and there are minimal distractions. Don't wait until your puppy is fully vaxxed to start training! Those 2 months are CRITICAL!!

Puppies need basic communication skills (sit, focus, come); enrichment (exercise and brain games); public manners (walking nicely on leash, proper greetings); and safe socialization to be well-adjusted and happy. These are imperative foundations which should start before 16 weeks of age. 

My approach is positive reinforcement. No pain, force-free. I teach YOU how and why the dog behaves how he does, how they learn, and how to best understand and communicate with your puppy so your bond becomes strong. I teach you both a mutual language. You are very involved in the training, and I require homework.

Private lessons start in your home, then on location once vaxxed.  It's important that your puppy doesn't only respond to basic commands in the house. Lessons are customized to your needs and goals.
