SUMMERLIN PUPPY ACADEMY!

Did you or someone you know just add a new puppy to the home, or are expecting one soon? Feeling a little lost?

Designed for new puppy owners, Summerlin Puppy Academy is a 13-day program which gives your puppy – and YOU! – a head start in the right direction. Don't have the time to potty train your puppy the right way? Don't know how to introduce the puppy to a crate so they don't cry? Are you EXHAUSTED already from the chaos of a new puppy? Puppy Academy is the answer!

Summerlin Puppy Academy is unlike any other board-and-train in the Las Vegas Valley, because:

I take puppies at 12 weeks of age. They do not need to be fully vaccinated to attend the program.

The program is in my home, so I limit the number of puppies to 4 per group.

I NEVER use aversive (“shock”) collars, even on adult dogs. I am a positive reinforcement trainer.

The best part: YOU ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE!

Summerlin Puppy Academy is a “bootcamp” for puppies. In the 13-day program, your puppy will learn:

• Basic commands like sit, wait, come, place, leave it, and many more

• Manners: mitigate jumping, counter surfing, etc

• Leash skills

• Safe, supervised socialization. This promotes healthy play techniques, preventing pups from dominating, and also allows them to socialize before they are fully vaxxed!

• Separation. To minimize separation anxiety

• Age-appropriate enrichment games, puzzles, and toys…and much more!

Like most established trainers, I've worked with thousands of dogs (and even more hoomans!). I've taught group classes and agility classes. I've done day training and private training. I've done behavior modification and service dog task training. I've worked with dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. I've honed my years of experience to an area of expertise in Early Puppyhood Development, and this program will be the best start in life for your puppy!!

Older pups are welcome, too! Puppies under 1 year old who are fully vaccinated will enjoy the luxury of socialization outside of the home, with a focus on greeting people properly and being around other dogs, etc. Some adult dogs may qualify as well. Size and temperament restrictions apply.

(That’s about $120/day for 24-hour training!)
